Guesthouse Rules and Policies
1. General Rules
- Guests must comply with all terms and conditions of the guesthouse.
- Smoking and firearms are prohibited.
- Pets, hazardous items, excessive luggage, or items with strong odors are not allowed.
- Respect others by avoiding gambling, unruly behavior, and public disturbances.
- Quiet hours: 11 PM – 8 AM in public spaces.
2. Cancellation Policy
- 4–7 Days Before Check-in: 50% cancellation fee.
- Less than 72 Hours Before Check-in: 100% cancellation fee.
- No-shows without notice by 8 PM will result in automatic cancellation.
3. Contract Termination
- HIVE reserves the right to evict guests who:
- Commit illegal acts
- Have contagious diseases
- Are intoxicated or disruptive
- Violate policies
4. Guest Registration
- Guests must provide:
- Name, age, address, occupation, and passport details (for foreign guests).
- Nationality, arrival details, and departure information.
- Additional details as requested.
5. Room Usage
- Check-in: 3 PM. Check-out: 10 AM.
- Late checkout:
- Until 12 PM: ¥1,000 charge.
- After 12 PM: Full-day room rate.
- Guests may extend their stay with advance notice and payment.
6. Refusal of Accommodation
- HIVE reserves the right to refuse accommodations for:
- Incomplete applications or lack of vacancies.
- Natural disasters.
- Reasons outlined in the termination policy.
7. Reception Hours
- Open daily: 9 AM – 10 PM.
8. Room Unavailability
- If a reserved room is unavailable, HIVE will arrange for a similar guesthouse.
9. Lost and Found
- Lost items are kept for 7 days; unclaimed items will be disposed of.
- Guests are responsible for their belongings; the guesthouse is not liable for stolen items.
10. Parking
- No parking is available for guests.
11. Damage Claims
- Guests are liable for damages to the property. Repairs/replacements will be charged.
12. Additional Notes
- Rooms are for sleeping/resting only. Room changes require staff approval.
- Unaccompanied minors require guardian permission.
- Extensions must be arranged and paid for in advance.
- Accepted payments: Cash or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Diners, American Express).
- Noise complaints will result in one warning; further issues may lead to eviction without a refund.
